Hundreds Turn Out for "The Peasant's Courtyard" Grand Opening Party

The grand opening party for The Peasant's Courtyard restaurant in Alamo Monday night was a huge success. Hundreds of people turned out to enjoy complimentary food, drinks and great music, as we celebrated the launch of another great place to eat from award-winning chef Rodney Worth.

Worth, along with his wife Natalie, also operates The Peasant and The Pear in Danville, which was awarded Best New East Bay Restaurant of 2006 by "Diablo Magazine." Rodney Worth was named Best East Bay Chef for 2008, also by "Diablo Magazine."

The new restaurant features "California bistro fare," according to Worth. The Peasant's Courtyard is located at 3195 Danville Boulevard, Alamo. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. Our thanks to the Alamo Chamber of Commerce for its support and for arranging the ribbon-cutting ceremony:
